The evidence was stacked against us, from fingerprints, marked bills, co-defendant testifying, confession, video footage, to jail calls. Client wanted a trial, so that is exactly what we gave him. He was found guilty on both charges, the State asked for Life without Parole, however we were able to get him sentenced to 28 years. While he was found guilty, the Jury deliberated for about 6 hours, we didn't have much, but we fought as best we could.
